The BOH (Best Of Highlands) tea plantation sits at 4,935 feet above sea level in Malaysia's Cameron Highlands. Founded by J.A. Russell, who arrived in the region in 1880 at the age of 7 (with his parents and four brothers), BOH is today synonymous with quality Malaysian teas. The leaves are plucked and harvested every three weeks depending on the area. Each employee cuts about 265 pounds of tea each day and trucks carry 19,900 pounds to the factory. The 15/20 hour process of rolling, fermenting, drying, assorting, selecting and packaging can be observed in the huge factory buildings.
