MOROCCO

Morocco, in the Maghreb region of North Africa, is characterized by a rugged mountainous interior, large tracts of desert, and a lengthy coastline along the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea. My focus is on the colours that emerge from the landscapes and townscapes as I travel through the various regions of Morocco on carefully planned itineraries.
This is an ongoing book project aimed at completion in 2021 and these images represent a working edit which will eventually be edited down to 100/120 colour plates for the book.

Nomadic by nature, and as a qualified geologist, Jeremy wandered into the Himalaya in 1987, teaching himself documentary photography. He has worked in over 100 countries over the last three decades, producing nine books, including Living Incas and Island Dreams: Mediterranean. His latest book, Nirvana, The Spread of Buddhism through Asia won a prestigious Benjamin Franklin Medal.
